As a member and president of the Upper Arlington School Board, Nancy Drees has worked to improve the lives of UA students, their families, and the entire community by:

Working for Our Future: On-Budget and On-Schedule! Guaranteed maximum pricing finalized for 6 construction projects, meaning that the projects are guaranteed to be on-budget.

 
Working on Facilities Master Plan to ensure your dollars are spent efficiently and effectively for the next 50 years.
Developing a Personalized Learning Plan by implementing one-to-one technology program while not increasing district costs. Our goal is to maximize time and resources to support student success through the smart use of technology. This plan will also bring the world into our classrooms.
Hiring and working with Superintendent Paul Imhoff to create a clear vision and mission for our district. Our strategic plan is to focus on what matters most based on five measurable, result-oriented goals.

Continuing Upper Arlington schools' tradition of excellence by making our school more accountable to our community. Our community survey in October of 2014 resulted in a 92.6% total positive rating in the quality of education provided by UA Schools.

Implementing an Efficiency Plan to improve our schools bottom line by $4.5 million dollars.

Giving the Upper Arlington community a full and transparent report on how our schools are performing in the areas that matter most to our community. The annual Quality Profile and State of the School event are designed to report both our strengths and areas of need.
